Claiming to be a detective Shawna Wall, gave phony badge number. Threatened me with felony charges for a debt I don't have. This is a scam that was reported in Washington state King 5 news. Caller has strong middle eastern accent. I told them about the news, they have stopped calling me at home and at work.

IN CONTRAST TO THE LIST OF COMPLAINTS FROM THE OTHER PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM, SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND HELPED ME PAY MY DEBT OFF FOR MY SEARS CARD. MAYBE U GUYS JUST GOT A BUNCH OF LOSERS CALLING U AND I LUCKED UP AND RAN ACROSS A REALLY PROFESSIONAL AND ARTICULATE YOUNG LADY.

Received yet another TXT at 4 AM stating "1111487799 : AT&T FREE MSG: AutoPay Enrollment Change Confirmation - conf #APCMAT########. Your change request has been processed." One main problem here: That's NOT my account number (I used #'s for the numbers on here) AND we did NOT change anything on our account or even pay our bill in the last few days, as it was paid 2 weeks ago. Sounds VERY fishy to me. Will be contacting AT&T directly asking them what's up, because this is clearly NOT for us and I'd like for the TXT's to STOP, especially when they are coming in between 2 AM and 6 AM CST! Also, TXTing them back does NOT work either, as I tried to send them a STOP message and it could not be sent to this number.

To lower interest rates. Was a canned call. Said to press 3 to stop the calls. Do not press anything it is a scam. Report these calls. I did to the Do Not Call List and the FBI site. Came from Utah
